Martha Stewart Weddings - Spring 2009

Hi everyone! I have been chomping at the bit for months now just waiting to be able to share this wonderful news...

My design Spring Stripes is featured in the Spring '09 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (shown above - page 160)! It hits newsstands Monday, April 6th. I am so thrilled! MS Weddings is the one weddings mag that I buy religiously every season. I'm pretty sure I have every issue ever published. So this is a dream come true for me. Spring Stripes, the design featured, will be available for sale on the minted.com website immediately. It is also available in two alternate colors: greyfog/white and lapis/white. This is the perfect invitation for a classic, elegant wedding - but the bold pop of color will ensure this invite doesn't get lost in the shuffle!

I just found out that one of my designs ("Paris") in the "Around the World Holiday Card Challenge" was chosen as an editor's pick. Yay! And that means again, they will be available for sale (in two colorways!) at Minted the holiday season.

I have so much fun designing for these Minted challenges! It's help me push my Illustrator skills too. This one was particularly challenging because we were asked to design a holiday card inspired by a specific geographic location. Sounds easy right? But it's really difficult to design a card, let's say for San Francisco, and not have it be cliche´. Well, I think I succeded in that (mostly).

Which means they will picked up by Minted and sold on their website sometime in the near futute. Both designs ("Wrapped" and "Mod Lattice") will be available in two swanky colorways! Check em out!
